Check out this silent short film Bypass starring Irfan Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It is an interesting film just lengthy enough to capture a theme and tell a story ... Its from 2003 before Nawazuddin struck it rich in Gangs of Wasseypur.
As the director Amit Kumar says,he was inspired by Anurag Kashyap. Anurag's touch is evident in most of the creative output's from our desi cinema. So our very own Mani Sir is on the decent, still struck in the romance based movies and Anurag is on the ascent with bold movies.
The short movie has all the ingredients required in a plot ... it has romance, intrigue, con men, fallen women, corrupt inspector and yeah little bit of sex thrown in and the only difficulty for the viewer would be when these elements passed by in those 15 short minutes would be difficult to figure out, so watch the movie and spot the elements and as yes it has a message too, Circle of Life.
